Stabling Assignments
IMPORATNT NOTICE ABOUT STABLING!
Please check your stabling
assignments closely!
Check the wait list here.
Onsite stabling is full, PADDOCKS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. As on-site stabling opens up, they will be awarded by order of payment received from competitors who have paid all of their fees.
All Competitors on the stabling list that are not in Green or Yellow (yellow) are currently stabled on-site. Competitors listed in Yellow are currently on the stabling on-site. We have not received payment from competitors listed in Green. Once payment is received you will be moved to the wait list. (White and grey means everything is all right).
You can call event entries and pay with your credit card to speed up the process.
Off-site stabling will be at barns within a few miles of Full Gallop. If you are assigned off-site stabling you will be informed by Thursday 8/26/2010 and will be given name, location, and instructions of which barn you are assigned to.
We still also have paddocks available - These paddocks can accommodate 1 – 7 horses each depending on the paddock. If you would like a paddock instead of a stall please let me know right away. The same stabling fee still applies. If you would like a paddock in addition to a stall it will be an additional stabling fee, but you can split the paddock usage with others in your group under that one fee. (5 people using one paddock split $150 fee).
Please check your stabling groups and let us know of any corrections of who should or should not be in your stable group.
Please check back often for updates. Stall assignments will be posted next Wed night 8/25 or Thurs morning 8/26.
If you are coming earlier or staying over and have not already let us know please contact us with that information as well ASAP.
Hotel Issues
Please feel free to call us for info if you have issues with booking a hotel. There appears to be a soccer tournament in town and there is a hold on rooms at a few hotels until next week.
Hotels had been locking up blocks of rooms in anticipation of heavy volume from the soccer tourney. These blocks have now been opened by the majority of the hotels. We listed hotels with availability below.
Full Gallop Farm is happy to have Lynn Coates-Holmes available to train out of our farm. Individual and group lessons are available. Cross country, Show Jumping, and Dressage are all available. Contact either Full Gallop Farm or Lynn for more information.
Lynn Coates-Holmes will be running a XC schooling this
weekend. |
Latest Happenings
May 29th, 2010 - May HT
Hope everyone’s spring has been going well!
Full Gallop Farm is still running the May Horse Trials. Due to a low amount of current entries we will be running this event as a one day horse trials. We will run everything on Saturday May 29th.
We are still accepting post entries to the Full Gallop Farm May horse trials we have plenty of room available at all levels and have many stalls and paddocks left as well. Please indicate on your entry if you want a paddock instead of a stall, or you can also pay for both if you wish.
We will not be offering the PT, or IP divisions we only had one entry. We do have Tadpole, Beg Novice, Novice, Training, and Prelim divisions available.
If you pay for stabling you are welcome to stay thru Monday if you wish for no extra charge. This only applies to participants who pay for stabling at this event. It only applies to the current event weekend the nights of May 28th - May 30th, 2010 and cannot be carried over to any other time. Participants paying for stabling are welcome to school the XC, Stadium, or dressage arena also at no extra charge just for this weekend - you cannot carry this over to another time, it just applies to this weekend. You can also go for a hack in the beautiful Hitchcock Woods, or just spend a day or two enjoying Aiken and all the horse things you can do here.
Lynn Coates-Holmes is still in the area and will be available to give lessons or xc schooling on Monday, Memorial Day. If interested, please e-mail or call me to set-up a lesson or sign-up for a group going Cross-country. This would be a great way to work on any issues you have at the event, or learn some new things.
With this being changed to a one day event it also will allow people to come and ride in the event on Saturday and still have the rest of the Memorial Day weekend to do other things if they do not want to stay in Aiken. So please spread the word to everyone you know, we really need to get the entries up. I really want to run this event again in May of 2011 but I will need to have over 100 entries to do so.
We are also in need of volunteers on Saturday for stewards, jump crew, timers, jump judges, etc. No horse experience is necessary free training provided. We will give you lunch and shower you with food and drinks all day long. You can earn a free schooling for every full day you volunteer or save up 5 full volunteer days and use that towards an entry at a future Full Gallop event (stabling, Grounds fees, and USEA/USEF fees not included). Please let us know if you or anyone you know is available to volunteer on Saturday May 29th, 2010 .
Lynn Coates-Holmes is also still giving lessons out of Full Gallop Farm at least until the first week of June before going back up North. Please contact us to set-up a lesson or school. Info on Lynn can be found at http://www.lcheventing.com.
Please see our website for more information on any of these upcoming events along with future events and clinics.
Full Gallop farm is also a great place to have your clinics, events, summer camps, dog trials, even outdoor weddings! If you need a let us know and we can talk about pricing, ect.
Thanks so much!
